The purpose of this full day intensive workshop is to arm you with the basic knowledge and tools necessary to mindfully practice these ancient modalities with yourself, family, and eventually community. As these practices continue fading out in modern day, it is important that we share them with each other to ensure they live on and thrive
You can expect to gain basic knowledge of what Mexican Traditional Medicine is and will get to practice the following modalities at this full day session that will be taking place in our outdoor space at Compton Health Bar:
-Limpias with Ramos (Herbal Bunches)
-Limpias with Eggs
-Limpias with Copal (Smoke)
-Body Work Using Rebozos (Shaals)
-Learn to Identify and Support Sustos and Mal de Aire
-Empacho - how to identify and treat it
If you've been wanting to connect with our ancestor's medicine practices but are unable to travel to Teotihuacan, México where some of our most prominent teachers are located, this half day intensive workshop is for you.
