Herbal Medicine for Lowering Inflammation

Virtual Class via Zoom: Wednesday, September 25th @6pm, PST

 During this one-off  virtual class, traditional herbalist and  practitioner of Curanderismo, dani solorio, will go over the different herbs and preparations we can call upon with when working through inflammation in the body.  Whether you're dealing with internal or external inflammation, there's an abundance of plant allies we can collaborate with that can offer long-term relief. 

Class overview:

* What are the two types of inflammation and how are they characterized?

*Herbal recipes and preparations for lowering inflammation. 

*Energetics of the herbs traditionally used for lowering inflammation, and how we can identify hot vs cold inflammatory conditions.

* We'll go over common symptoms of internal and external inflammation.

*Connecting with plants spiritually for the purpose of healing inflamed parts of ourselves.

*Sharing of traditional indigenous methods of lowering inflammation holistically.

The class will last about 90 minutes and will be recorded.

dani solorio (she/ they) is a community herbalist, practitioner of of Curanderismo,  and founder of Compton Heath Bar, a holistic herbal medicine store where herbal medicines are consciously made and offered to the community.

dani is originally from Zacapu, Michoacán, Mexico (Purepecha land) and integrates their ancestral roots into their approach to traditional herbalism.

dani has been working as a community herbalist for the past twelve years and one of their specialties is assisting people with their hormone health. They offer herbal consultations, the ancestral practice of energy cleansing, and workshops on traditional Mexican medicine and herbalism.
