Virtual Class Offering
Online Class: Wednesday, November 27th, 2024 @ 5pm PST.
This is the first of four classes that will be focused on the medicine that each element offers us. Since we're in the fall season, we'll be starting with water.
Many of our indigenous ancestors associated the fall season with the element of water, feminine energy, endings, and cycles of release.
There’s a variety of herbs and flowers that carry the energetic properties of water, and they can help facilitate connection with that sacred element.
In this virtual class we will be exploring the various ways to connect with water and the plantitas associated with her.
Class overview:
* What does it mean to connect with an element?
*Ancestral medicine: the water element and the associations with it (based on the indigenous teachings I've been given).
*We'll explore the energetics of a variety of common herbs and flowers that are associated with the water element.
* We'll practice connecting to a plant's energetics to facilitate connection to water.
*We'll look at ways that connecting with water can help us in practical ways, as we continue along the journey of our own healing; How can we close cycles with water? How does water help us go deep within ourselves to offer ourselves what we're in need of?
**** The Specifics:
The class will last about 90 minutes and will be recorded.
